Free Twitter video downloader for X, plus Pinterest and Bluesky images
Paste a public post link and save the media inside it: X videos, GIFs and photos, Pinterest and Bluesky images, and YouTube thumbnails. Free, no sign-up, and no files kept on our servers.
Works with all your favorite platforms
To download a Twitter (X) video, copy the post link from the Share menu, paste it above and press Get Media. The tool returns the highest-bitrate MP4 that X offers for that post, plus any photos at original size. It also saves Pinterest and Bluesky images and YouTube thumbnails. Instagram, Facebook and Threads are not supported, and it never removes watermarks.

How to use it
- 1Copy the post's link from the Share menu or the browser address bar.
- 2Paste it here and press Get Media. The network is detected from the link.
- 3Download each file, or all of them at once.
How to copy a post link on each app
The tool needs the link to one post, not a profile or a feed. The steps are nearly the same on every network.
- X on iPhone or Android: tap the Share icon under the post, then Copy link. On desktop: click Share, then Copy link, or copy the address bar. The link must contain /status/.
- Pinterest app: open the pin, tap Share, then Copy link (a pin.it short link works). On desktop: copy the address bar while the pin is open.
- Bluesky app: tap the Share icon on the post, then Copy link to post. On bsky.app: the same menu, or copy the address bar.
- TikTok app: tap Share (the arrow), then Copy link. On desktop: copy the address bar on the video page.
- YouTube: tap Share, then Copy link. Watch, Shorts, live and youtu.be links all work.
What quality and format you get
You get the files the platform already serves. Nothing is re-encoded, upscaled or converted, so the quality is the best the source allows and no better.
X videos come as MP4 with sound, at the highest bitrate X lists for that post, often 720p or 1080p. X stores GIFs as short MP4 clips, so a GIF downloads as an MP4. Photos come in the original upload size X keeps. A post with four photos gives four files, and Download all saves them in one go.
Pinterest images come from the originals folder when Pinterest has one, otherwise at the size shown on the pin. Bluesky images come at full size as JPG. There is no MP3 or audio-only option.
Watermarks: what this tool does and does not do
This tool never removes or crops a watermark. X, Pinterest and Bluesky do not add one to the original file, so what you save looks like the post.
TikTok is different. The copy TikTok serves to web browsers can carry the TikTok logo and the creator's handle, and a watermark-free file is not something we fetch or promise. For a clean copy of your own TikToks, use the Save video option in the TikTok app.
Why a link may not work
Most failures come from the platform, not the link. The tool reads only what a logged-out visitor can see.
- Instagram, Facebook and Threads block requests from servers, so the tool answers 'coming soon'. Use the app's own save option for your own posts.
- Protected X accounts, deleted posts and some posts marked sensitive return 'Tweet not found'.
- Private, age-restricted or region-locked TikToks cannot be read.
- A post with only text returns 'no media'. Quote posts and link cards are not read.
- Files over 200 MB are refused, and after 30 lookups in 10 minutes you wait a few minutes.
Copyright and fair use: download only what you have rights to use
A public post is still owned by whoever made it. Save your own posts, your clients' posts with their permission, or media the owner allowed you to share. Reposting or editing someone else's video without permission can break copyright law and the platform's terms, whether or not a watermark is on it. Fair use is narrow and depends on the case, so when in doubt, ask the creator and credit them.
SocialScheduler is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by X, TikTok, Pinterest, Bluesky, YouTube or LinkedIn. Their names are used only to say which links the tool accepts.
Privacy: what happens to your link and the file
No account, no email, no browser extension. When you press Get Media, our server reads the public post and lists its files. When you press Download, the file streams from the platform's servers through ours to your device, marked no-store. We do not save the file or keep a copy.
The only thing held is your IP address, in memory, for up to 10 minutes, to apply the fair-use limit. The server does not log in to any network, so it never sees your accounts.
Questions about this tool.
How do I download a video from Twitter (X)?
Tap Share under the post, choose Copy link, paste the link into the box above and press Get Media. Then press Download under the video. It saves as an MP4 file.
Why won't my Twitter video download?
The post may be from a protected account, deleted, marked sensitive, or a quote of another post. The tool only reads what a logged-out visitor can see. Open the original post and copy its own link.
What quality are the downloaded X videos?
The highest-bitrate MP4 that X offers for that post, often 720p or 1080p. The file is not re-encoded, so it cannot be sharper than the upload.
Can I download TikTok videos without a watermark?
Not with this tool. It downloads the copy TikTok serves to web browsers, watermark and all, and never removes it. For your own videos, use Save video in the TikTok app.
Does it work with Instagram videos or Reels?
No. Instagram, Facebook and Threads block requests from servers, so the tool cannot read them yet. For your own Reels, use the save option in the Instagram app.
Can I download Bluesky videos?
Not the video itself. For a Bluesky video post you get the thumbnail image. Bluesky images download at full size.
How do I download a Pinterest video or image?
Images work: copy the pin link and paste it here to get the image, at original size when Pinterest has it. Video pins are not supported yet.
Can I download YouTube videos here?
No. Downloading YouTube videos breaks YouTube's terms, so the tool returns the largest thumbnail of the video instead, up to 1280 x 720.
Is it legal to download videos from social media?
Saving your own posts, or posts you have permission to use, is fine. Reposting someone else's video without permission can infringe copyright even if the post is public. Ask the creator and credit them.
Is this downloader safe, and are my files stored?
There is nothing to install and no login. Files stream from the platform to your device and are not stored on our servers. Your IP is held in memory for 10 minutes to apply the fair-use limit.
